Lou Hopper brings a carefully chosen group of South African designers to a UK audience for the first time. The focus is on contemporary printed textiles: strong colour palettes, eclectic patterns and interesting textures. Products range from home furnishings to designer bags and clothing. The idea came about through family connections to South Africa and regular travel to that country.

Each designer's work is handmade and they often produce limited editions. All products are ethically produced in South Africa. Lou Hopper is proud to be working with and building relationships with the enterprising designers and business women behind these individual brands. Much of the craftsmanship, such as printing and sewing, is done by the designer, or produced by local craftspeople, whom they have teamed up with. Some of the designers have invested in building teams of previously unskilled workers, training them up to undertake skillful printing techniques or complex seamstress work.


UK Standard delivery £4.95

Our standard delivery rates are based on a flat rate, across the UK. You can choose to send items to different addresses, but if you choose more than one delivery address for your order, please note that a delivery charge will be applied per address. For standard delivery orders we use My Hermes courier services. We aim to deliver within 3 to 5 working days. Delivery times are calculated in working days from Monday to Friday. If you order after 3pm, the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In the case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow an extra two working days. No deliveries will be attempted at weekends or on bank holidays. We will email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. Please enter delivery instructions if you are going to be out and would like the courier to leave your parcel with a neighbor or in a safe place.
UK Express delivery for all items, excluding cushions - £9.95
UK Express delivery for cushions, £14.95.

If you live in the UK Mainland and require your items quickly, please use our express delivery service. We have to charge a bit more to send our cushions as the courier service costs us more, because cushions are both bulky and heavy to send.


We do our best to ensure customers are satisfied with their order and the level of service they receive. If you are not satisfied, you may return the items to us within 14 days for an exchange or refund. Please contact us via email to let us know that you would like to return or exchange an item. We would suggest that you use some form of delivery service that requires a signature. Item(s) must be returned in the condition in which they were originally sent. Please ensure that you include your name, address and telephone number or email when returning goods. Returns will take approximately 5 working days to process once the goods have arrived. You will receive an email once your refund has been processed. We are unable to arrange for unwanted items to be collected or refund any return carriage costs. Order cancellations & amendments: We are unable to add items to or remove items from an order once it has been placed. We are, however, able to amend the delivery address if your order has not been dispatched. Please contact us.

Damaged or incorrect items: please contact us within 14 working days if you have received damaged or incorrect items in your order and we will do our best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. It is sometimes necessary to ask customers to provide a photograph of the damaged items to allow us to follow up with our couriers regarding your order. We may also require you to return your order.
