LIME TREE DESIGN
Lime Tree Design is a collection of original products that are either handmade or individual in design - ultimately it has to be something I love. I design and sell jewellery using vintage components to make contemporary yet individual pieces - I specialise in vintage lockets which I have developed a passion for. Other products range from cushions & throws to lavender bags: including my popular tins of handmade lavender sardines. The materials I use are a mix of vintage and new; some designer fabrics and some more work-a-day: old jewellery and new components. By using vintage materials and teaming them with modern ones, I feel true to the make do and mend ethos and it means every item I produce is special.
My inspiration is wide and varied. It is my mother’s button box and the colours and textures of the vintage clothes she collected. It is the funky ‘60s prints which filled my childhood home. It is the vintage treasures in my Great Aunts' bead boxes with intriguing charms and lockets. All of which help to form the eclectic and colourful Lime Tree Design collection.
We aim to dispatch goods within 2 working days. If goods are not in stock I will contact you and let you know when you can expect delivery. Goods are sent Royal Mail first class signed for or courier depending on the item. Delivery is usually 1-2 days after dispatch, however the ultimate delivery time is down to Royal Mail - I can supply you with a tracking number.
If you change your mind you can return or exchange goods within 28 days of purchase for a refund on the goods as long as both the packaging and the goods themselves remain intact and you notify me via the 'Contact the retailer' tab as soon as possible. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Returned goods are at the customers expense. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. Please ask for proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as I cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. Delivery charges and returned postage will only be refunded if the item is faulty, in which case you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. When returns are received a refund will be made via Nochex to the card that payment was made on.
